Run for Hope: Saving Young Lives in Germany

Who Are We?

We are Tomiwa & Vienne Safe-Adewumi, blessed parents of three wonderful children and passionate advocates for the next generation.

Today, we invite you to partner with us to save 500 young souls who are lost each year to suicide in Germany.

Together, we believe prevention is better than cure.

Why This Mission Matters

Every single day, suicide silently claims lives around us.

It’s no longer just a physical battle — it's emotional, mental, and spiritual.

We are facing a crisis of identity.

Young hearts are overwhelmed, isolated, and drifting farther from the foundations of life, love, and hope.

But we believe there is a way back — a way pioneered by Jesus Himself: through love, sacrifice, and compassion.

In 2017, while serving in Myanmar to rescue an impoverished community, we had a life-changing realization:

"The greatest way to save lives is to lay ours down for them."

Since then, we left our careers in engineering, project management, and education to devote our lives full-time to saving and restoring young souls. Since then we've served in England, Netherlands, The Caribbean and now Germany.

What Impact Have We Made So Far?

Through our work, many lives have already been saved from:

Substance abuse

Emotional trauma

Sexual abuse

Alcohol and pornography addictions

Character and identity crises

Broken relationships and marriages

A lifestyle of ego and self-destruction

All in all, hope is possible. Change is real. And it’s happening.

But we can’t continue this mission without your support.

How You Can Help

Starting with the 5km Run for Hope on 9th of June, we are holding several competition runs this summer to raise both awareness and funds. Our next 10km run is 26th of June.

We are asking sponsors to sponsor each meter for just 1€.

Example: Sponsor 100 meters = 100€.

Sponsor 500 meters = 500€.

No distance is too small — every step matters. Every meter changes a life.

Where Will the Funds Go?

Your generous support will be used to:

Promote and market activities reaching youth in need

Secure a safe space where healing and transformation can happen

Provide professional counseling for struggling youth

Train leaders to expand our impact across Germany

Equip our centers with necessary resources

Host meetings, workshops, and events that create real change

Cover essential operational expenses

All funds will go directly to our charity:

Internationale Christliche Gemeinde Berlin.
