I’m CJ Goodz, active duty military, and I see every day how common it is for people to struggle in silence. Too many service members and veterans feel alone, afraid to ask for help, or unsure where to turn. That is why I’m taking on this run challenge and standing with Stop Soldier Suicide to bring attention and connection to those who need it most.

This cause is personal. I believe we can do more than help people get through today. We can give them hope for what’s next. Stop Soldier Suicide uses data-driven outreach and suicide-specific intervention services that meet service members where they are. Their mission to reduce veteran and service member suicide by 40 percent by 2030 is bold, necessary, and something I want to be part of.
