Eli's Fund
The Eli Brookens Memorial Fund was established in Eli's memory to honor his spirit and his love of the outdoors. Eli and four of his friends lost their lives in 2016. Eli's fund partners with the Crossett Brook Middle School Winter Sports Program. The program provides the opportunity for all 5th through 8th grade students at Crossett Brook Middle School to experience the mountains and the joy of skiing, riding, and snowshoeing. This program gave so much to Eli and now we want to give back.
We hope to continue to support the program by covering the cost of program registration fees for any families in need, so all children in the Waterbury, Vermont community have the same opportunity to fall in love with the mountains the way Eli did.
Beginning this year, the Fund will also support Vermont Adaptive, which helps to ensure that all children, no matter their abilities, have the opportunity to enjoy the Vermont outdoors. Vermont Adaptive partners with Crossett Brook Middle School to provide support for students in the program.
Please help us in supporting young Vermonters enjoy the beautiful Green Mountains, just as Eli did.
