Hi my name is Neil McCollum from Chapel Road in Dunfanaghy and currently based in Kildare, I will be running from Dublin to Creeslough which is a distance of 270km along with my gym partner Mario Talotti, originally from South Africa.
We set of on our trek on Thursday 11th May at 06:00am.
We are taking on this challenge in aid of the Creeslough Tragedy Fund.
The purpose of the challenge, 'Run for Creeslough' is to raise funds for the families of the ten people who lost their lives in the village following an explosion on Friday, October 7th.
We are planning to leave the Papal Cross Carpark in the Phoenix Park on Thursday, May 11th and arrive at St Michael's Church, Creeslough on Saturday, May 13th.
