Running for My Dad – Fighting MS One Step at a Time

On October 20th, 2024, I’ll be running the 20th edition of the Palma Marathon in honor of my dad, who passed away 10 years ago. He was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a disease that slowly takes away mobility. His biggest fear was losing his ability to walk, and he often said, “If I ever end up in a wheelchair, I’ll take my life.” Those words have stayed with me, and his struggle continues to drive me.

This marathon is my way of keeping his memory alive and fighting back against the disease that affected him so deeply. I’m running to raise money for MS research, hoping we can one day find a cure, so no one else has to face the same fears my dad did.
