Support Dudes For Dads: Running with Purpose in the Miami Marathon

I’m lacing up my running shoes to take on the Miami Marathon, but I’m not just running for myself. I’m running to raise funds and awareness for Dudes for Dads, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children who have lost their father figure—or never had one. Our mission is to help fill the void left by these losses, providing mentorship, community, and shared memories that make life a little brighter.

Why Dudes For Dads?

At Dudes for Dads, we believe in the power of compassion, the strength of community, and the joy that comes from supporting each other. Founded by a group of friends who have experienced the loss of father figures in different ways, our organization seeks to turn personal pain into a source of strength for others. We aim to guide and mentor young people, drawing from the lessons and love our fathers gave us.

Our Story

Dudes For Dads is a tribute to the fathers and father figures who shaped us—men like Steven Goodwin, Ben Gieseman, Alberto Panqueva, David Miller, Bill Stokes, and many others. Their spirit lives on in the work we do, the lives we touch, and the community we continue to build. Since 2022, we’ve had the privilege of supporting kids in need through mentorship, community outreach, sports initiatives, and scholarships, all while honoring the legacy of those who’ve inspired us.

Every dollar raised through our Miami Marathon campaign will go directly to funding our programs and initiatives, including mentoring opportunities, sports programs for underserved youth, care packages, and educational scholarships.
