200 for 200

Donation protected
UPDATE... reclaim the block have stopped taking donations and have changed their DOnate button to a list of other organisations and charities which would benefit from the money. Whilst this is amazing that they have raised this amount of money, we understand that everyone who has donated the money has done so in the name of Reclaim the block. So we have found some charities that echo their work. But we also wanted to split the money between the US and the UK. So the charities that the money will be split by are Black Minds Matter Uk, Marsha P institute and we are waiting for one more . If we make £8000 we will choose 4 charities . Thankyou for your ongoing support ! Xx

We’ve spent a lot of time reading and observing what is happening all over America and the rest of the world . But we don’t want to just observe . We want to act.

We will all be taking part in 200 for 200. Some
of us will be running 200 miles in the month of June, others 200km. Some
will be rowing and some will be completing 200 burpees a day. This started as an individual  fundraiser but Now we are a TEAM. Which is what this cause is about We are all in this TOGETHER

If you want to join for 200 for 200 please do. Themore the merrier

We will be raising money for ‘Reclaim the Block’ a community based organisation who are doing work on the ground to provide safety and services for the people of Minnesota , who are often being told that "there's not enough money to go around." but continue to increase the police budget each year .

What has again come to light in the last week is that Policing doesn’t keep people safe .

In fact it oppresses , it discriminates and it kills.

Minneapolis has continued to increase its police budget each year, without putting even a fraction of those resources to invest in real safety solutions like violence prevention, housing, responses to mental health and opioid crises, and protections for workers instead of 14 more cops.

Please pledge what you can to this fund .

Together we need to OBSERVE, EDUCATE & ACT.
