Hello everybody, for those of you who don't know, my dad passed six months ago to cancer. While it has been a tough time for myself and my family, I have had a lot of time to reflect upon our experience with cancer and the fight my amazing dad had. To give some backstory, he loved running, hiking, and spent a lot of his adventurous time in the outdoors. He was a passionate artist and musician, and was involved in many other sports. Including his years of coaching my brother and I's sports teams growing up. The past eight or so years have been turbulent, but one part stayed consistent: My dad's fight and love never wavered which I am so proud of and grateful for. When i learned about the 100 mile challenge for April I thought it would be a good idea to take one of my dad's passions and use it to fight the very disease that took him from us. Whether you knew him or not it is easy to see the lasting effect he will have not just on myself but anybody who was fortunate to have him in their life one way or another. Lets work together to keep my dad's name alive help end the sickness that everyone of us have experienced in some way. Please consider donating and/or sharing because every little bit helps. 100% of proceeds go the The American Cancer Society. Thank you for your time and support!
