We have exciting news! We are adopting.

"For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

We have struggled with infertility for almost three years now. To some that may not seem like a long time, but if you have ever walked this road, you know how deeply painful and stretching it can be. From the very beginning of our relationship, even before marriage, we both felt drawn to adoption. We didn’t know what God’s plan for our family would look like, but we carried a quiet hope that adoption would one day be a part of our story.

Today, we feel that calling more strongly than ever. Adoption is not just a “last resort” for us, it is a joyful and intentional choice to grow our family through love. We see adoption as a beautiful reflection of the way God welcomes each of us into His family. Our hearts are open and we are ready to embrace a child with love and patience.

We are actively beginning the adoption process. We have been approved and have begun the home study process. While we are filled with excitement and hope, adoption also comes with significant financial costs, including agency fees and legal expenses. These costs can be overwhelming for one family to carry alone, but we trust that God can provide through the generosity of many.

We would be so grateful for your support in helping us bring our future child home. Your donation is not just a financial gift, it is a direct investment in a child’s life and in our family’s calling to love and nurture them. Most importantly, we ask for your prayers: for us, for the child we will welcome, and for their birth family.

We are working with Bethany Adoption Agency to adopt an infant from the US. We will post updates along the way!

Here is the breakdown of the adoption costs:

Home Study and Req. Education - $16,350

Post Placement Fees - $17,150

Attorney Fees - $10,000-15,000

Grand Total - $ 43,500-$48,500

Goal - $45,000

This does not include travel costs and many other necessities that we will be paying for on our own, including post-placement visits and keeping our home study and background checks up to date on a yearly basis.
