Kaleb

Hi, my name is Kelly. My husband & I are reaching out for assistance with medical expenses for our son.

Our 16-year-old son, Kaleb, was in an accident last weekend on an ATV vehicle. The vehicle flipped and pinned Kaleb under it causing hip fractures on both sides, a tailbone fracture, and a fractured femur. He is currently unable to walk & the small amount he can do to get from place to place must be done with a walker. This accident happened out of town; we had 2 different ambulance trips because he had to be taken to a trauma center to assess his injuries. Kaleb will require someone to be with him 24/7 plus a pediatric orthopedic specialist/surgeon & PT for an unknown amount of time. He will have to transition into homeschooling to keep up with his education.

We are reaching out for assistance because we unfortunately have not been able to afford insurance. We need help to get him the care he needs as well as keep up with our household bills. My husband and I will both be taking time off work causing a significant loss of income due to the number of appointments & making sure our youngest son still maintains his normal routines.

We are not ones to ask for help, but we are in a situation where we desperately need it. Please, if you can help us, we would appreciate anything you can do & and there are not enough words to express our gratitude for anyone taking the time to help us.
