On September 1st, 2020, CJ Frost passed away unexpectedly at the age of 57 leaving behind two minor children. Not feeling well, CJ was driven to the emergency room where he failed to respond to life-saving measures.
Those who knew CJ will claim he was rather humorous and knew how to make people laugh. He was strong and loud yet soft-spoken and supportive with his children. His life revolved around his children; days spent hiking, biking, playing on the trampoline, building rockets, and racing Hot Wheels. He also loved spending time at the beach with his family where they enjoyed boating and lots of fishing. He was all things Steelers, Longhorns, and Dale Earnhardt Sr. (good ole number 3).
CJ was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cheryl Stricklin Frost. He is survived by his children, Aubri Frost (age 26), Davian Frost (age 11), and Kaylie Frost (age 9). As minors and with both parents passing, Davian and Kaylie are in need of a guardian. Per CJ’s wishes, always thinking of the future, for the safety and wellbeing of his children, his sister Paige will assume guardianship of Davian and Kaylie and manage the estate until they come of age with Aubri’s help along the way. Although legal expenses were anticipated, we have found that the standard legal costs for the guardianship process could cost up to a total of $8000. CJ also left behind a holographic will which processing through probate could cost up to $5000.
We are asking for donations from anybody willing to help and we greatly appreciate any amount as every dollar counts. We are doing everything we can to ensure the best quality of life for Davian and Kaylie as their parents worked so hard to achieve.
Thank you for your kindness and donation.
