Support a Single Mother Refugee

There is a young woman with her 4-year-old child who has been oppressed and bullied for years. She has always been beaten and raped by her husband and thrown out of the house countless times. Calling the police has never been helpful either. She was even attacked by her husband right in front of the police station and all they did was to advise her to go home and continue living her life.

Since then she’s been fighting for women's rights and active in political and feminist activities on social media. Last month she and her husband managed to immigirate to France. Her husband continued abusing her throughout this tough, tragic journey. She was beaten and threatened all the time. This oppressed and starving woman with their 4-year-old son asks her husband to declare asylum in France. At a train station in Paris, her husband attacked her and took the child to run off but fortunately got caught, arrested and put behind bars for 30 days. The mother and her child were taken to the hospital without even a single dollar and after two days a social worker gave them an address to ask for food and a place to sleep. For the past 5 nights, this woman has been homeless carrying her kid and two broken suitcases in the freezing cold.

Apparently there’s no camp for the displaced/refugees in Paris. A few families have sent money to help them survive while others allowing her and her son stay at their place for a night or so till her asylum request is processed.

She is in urgent need of financial support. Every single dollar is valuable to feed them and put a roof over their head.
