Hi everyone, we’re Noah and Megan Pierce. We’ve been married for five years and have spent over two of those years hoping, praying, and trying to grow our family. What began as excitement for the next chapter of our lives has turned into one of the most emotionally challenging journeys we’ve ever gone through, with month after month of negative pregnancy tests. After over a year of disappointment, we turned to fertility specialists.

Since then, we’ve gone through several rounds of fertility medications, countless tests, and IUIs (intrauterine inseminations), each one ending in heartbreak. Our doctors have now recommended IVF (in vitro fertilization) as our best chance to conceive. Unfortunately, our insurance doesn’t cover any fertility treatments or medications, and the cost of our IVF is estimated to be around $18,000. Although IVF will give us a higher success rate, there are no guarantees that it will be successful and may require additional attempted cycles. This will use a large portion of our savings, which we’ve worked hard to build for our future family, and for me to go to PA school.

Both of us come from large, close-knit families, and we long to share that same love with children of our own. We’ve always dreamed of having children, to teach them faith and watch them grow into themselves. Whether they end up being a numbers whizz like Megan or a choir-loving nerd like me, we dream of being able to give them a loving and supportive home.

There’s no way to describe the pain of infertility, the monthly heartbreak, the empty nursery dreams, and the quiet tears that come with every new pregnancy announcement. Yet, through it all, our faith and love for each other have only grown stronger. As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we believe that families are eternal and central to God’s plan. We trust that He knows our hearts and will guide us through this journey in His time.

We’re humbly asking for help to make IVF possible, to give us the chance to hold our miracle baby in our arms. The cost of a family is priceless, but unfortunately, IVF is not.
