Adoption Fundraiser

Hey! My name is Blair Wulfekuhl and I am a foster and adoptive momma! I am also a social worker and guidance counselor in Leon County. We met Raven in February of 2024 on what was supposed to be a short term placement due to her disruption from another home. God had other plans, we all immediately felt like she belonged with us the second we met her. We later learned our paths had crossed multiple times before during my time working in child welfare. Raven and her siblings have been in and out of foster care since she was about 3 years old and they have had 2 failed adoptions. Our family wants to adopt Raven as soon as she turns 18 on August 9th so she can finally have her forever family! Raven is a senior at Tallahassee Collegiate Academy and is dual enrolling at Tallahassee State College (previously Tallahassee Community College). Raven is involved with the Florida Youth Leadership Academy, Stepping into Success with DCF, the Student Government Association at TCA and volunteers with a local animal rescue, Champ’s Chance. Raven wants to get her Masters in Social Work and provide counseling to children in foster care. She is an absolutely amazing young woman and we want her to know that no matter what she has a place to call home.

Additionally, we would like to adopt Raven’s 16 year old sister who we are also fostering. We are hopeful DCF can move towards TPR and then Adoption per her request before she turns 18.
