Lachlan, at 3 years old has been diagnosed with a very rare life threatening lung condition currently under the term Pulmonary Haemorrhage. This means he has bleeds in his lungs. He still smiles through it all and it doesn’t stop him.
Lachlan spent over a month in RBHSC which included Intensive Care, a few trips to theatre and multiple blood transfusions.
Due to how rare his condition is we hope to raise money for paediatric respiratory so they can continue the amazing work they do. These nurses and doctors saved my son’s life and continue to give him the best long term treatment.
Barretstown is an organisation that offer family and sibling breaks at their camp in Co.Kildare for children who are affected by cancer and serious illnesses. This is all paid for by the organisation. They have a full medical facility on site allowing families to make memories and have a much needed break. This organisation has offered our family, Lachlan and his siblings, all of us to attend their camp in August and we hope to raise money so other families can benefit from having something to look forward too.
Thank you
