Remembering Roy Roth, Celebrating a Legend
Like many of you, I woke up Monday morning to the tragic news of the loss of both a friend and an icon. Roy Roth has been a role model and an inspiration to me for years, and back in March I got the chance to sit down and chat with him on the podcast, which only fueled my respect for the man as a hunter and as a person. I wanted to highlight some of the stories and advice that Roy shared with us on his earlier episode, so I put together a tribute in his memory, showcasing some of my favorite tales he told me. My heart goes out to the Roth family, knowing that the loss of a loved one is never easy.
Roy was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back during a blizzard, and I would love to see the hunting community reach out and do the same for his family in their time of need. This Gofundme campaign was created in the hopes that the hunting community will join me in showing our support for the Roth family.
