Roxanne Needs A Little Help From Friends & Family

I'm Julie Cardman, and I'm Roxanne's cousin. Roxanne could use some support from her family and friends. Due to some unfortunate circumstances, she needs to find new housing. She is in a challenging financial position. Please read her request below. Any financial support you can offer Roxanne would be most appreciated.

Roxannes' Request

I need help. After 10 and 1/2 years of renting at a very affordable rate, I have to move. This is not my fault nor my landlord's fault, and it was totally unexpected.

I live paycheck to paycheck, not because I want to and not because I'm negligent with my finances. I've always kept the budget on paper and tried to save. It's difficult to save money when you're on a single income like I am. Due to my physical ailments and other limitations, I'm not in a position to look for other employment. Unfortunately, I'm not eligible for public assistance even though my annual income is very modest.

I've done the math, and I need to move as close as possible to Dubois, PA so I can lower or almost eliminate my travel to work costs. That will help me be able to afford the much higher rent that I'm going to be paying.

I apologize for asking for help because it bothers me a lot to do so. I don't know how I'll be able to move if I don't have support financially. I do not have the savings to afford the cost of moving and the rental security deposit. Once I have moved, I can manage on my own.

I'm begging here, and I hate doing this. I want people to understand I'm not asking for this because I was remiss and didn't budget. I appreciate any help you can provide.
