Rowan’s Reason is offering support to bereaved families who are experiencing pregnancy loss, baby loss and child loss.

Rowan is my baby that I lost April 22nd 2024. The pain I felt then is something I still feel now and forever will. I wanted to have something in Rowans name to help others experiencing what I have been through. Mams, dads, grandparents and siblings. Our reason is because of Rowan now.

I have lots of different ways that I would like to help bereaved families in Rowans name although our main focuses at the moment are to provide care packages to mams, dads & birthing partners during the process of labour & miscarriage. During my experience of losing Rowan my friend told me that I would need my hospital bag & I froze and could not comprehend that I would have to get a hospital bag for my labour process when I was not bringing my baby home. My friend took me shopping & paid for everything that I needed, she did not only take the financial burden from me but also the emotional pain & worry of going into shops with my bump and preparing for what no parent should have to go through. Her act of kindness is the reason we hope to do the same for other mams, dads & birthing partners. We would also like to use the funds for a photographer to go in and take special memories and photos of the family & their baby to have forever as the hospital I was in did not offer this service.

we are working towards being able to offer support groups to bereaved families on a 8 week programme designed by Rowans mammy. A licensed counsellor & member of the BACP. I have worked so hard to obtain this degree before the loss of Rowan, so I would like to use it for the greater good to help other bereaved families.

These prices are based on our Amazon wish list, however a list of products will be posted on our social media pages for each package in which we are more than happy for you to buy the contents separately & donate unused items to make up a care package. The likes of home bargains and B&M may offer a cheaper price alternative for separate items rather than bulk.
