Leo Rotondo’s Family (NYC Bus Operator)
Family and friends,
This is one of the hardest times for our family.
This year not only has it been a ride with Covidbut it has also brought us health challenges. My husband leo has had many silent heart attacks which have weaken his heart where he now wears defibrillator vest to prevent him from a sudden attack that can take his life suddenly. Its been a waiting game going on for 6 months now to see if different medications can improve his heart function and with no success. He has been out of work since March without pay and with my unemployment it has covered us through this month but with the resuming of our daily expenses we find ourselves not knowing how it’s going to be financially for the next few-months that he will be out and awaiting SSD process. We have exhausted our savings as well. This is by far the most prideful ask from us. Leo is a person that has donated 60% of his liver to his father to give him 10 additional years without batting an eye, Sacrificed family time and himself to work 6 days countless hours to provide for his family and always willing to help those in need.
We complete understand that many are facing similar situations with this pandemic but we ask along with prayers and supportive words If you are able to help us during our hardship it would be appreciated beyond words.
With a humble heart THANK YOU!!!
