Justin is a young carer to his little brother George who has Autism and ADHD. Family life can be difficult for their siblings and Justin who has struggled with this was becoming isolated and very withdrawn from the new family life and routine. When my son Justin first joined Rothes Juniors , he was shy, struggling with confidence, and finding it hard to make friends. As parents, it was difficult to watch him withdraw from activities and lose belief in himself.

Everything changed the day he stepped onto the pitch with this incredible football family. From the very first training session, the coaches welcomed him, encouraged him, and made him feel like he belonged. Coaches and other team peers cheering him on when he was nervous, lifting him up when he made mistakes, and celebrating every small victory along the way.

Football didn’t just give him a sport to play. It gave him a safe space to grow, learn discipline, and build resilience. The club has taught him teamwork, respect, and determination. Most importantly, it gave him a sense of belonging that has completely transformed his confidence and outlook on life.

Now, he runs out onto the pitch with a smile on his face and pride in his heart. He dreams bigger, laughs louder, and believes in himself in a way we never thought possible.

We are raising funds to help get the boys and girls of the 2013,s team to participate in a tournament in Blackpool.
