The Rotary Club of Claremont Presents "Out On The Town" October 2-11, 2020

The Rotary Club of Claremont presents a unique community event that supports local businesses; encouraging the community to get out on the town and patronize these businesses that have helped Rotary support the community over the years through the Taste of Claremont. The Taste, Rotary’s primary annual fundraiser and a premier community event, was suspended in the spring due to the pandemic.

Donating to this fundraiser will help you to support our Out On The Town Event and help us to promote small businesses in the area including restaurants, breweries, and wineries, to help encourage people to visit and support these small businesses. Your donation will also help to fund professional advertisements for each of the businesses in local newspapers, on social media such as Facebook and Instagram, and other online media.

We invite you to enjoy our passport to support local businesses between October 2, 2020 and October 11, 2020. More than 30 local restaurants, wineries, breweries and local businesses are welcoming patrons to enjoy their experience out on the town, encouraging carry out as well as dining al fresco on site. The revenue from your meal and beverage purchases will stay with the business and your sense of community is yours to keep! At the end of the event, passport holders will be invited to turn in their passport for a special prize.

Rotary is also hosting an online silent auction for an opportunity for participants to support the Rotary Club of Claremont as well. Through the generous support of our participants and sponsors, all money raised will go to the Claremont Rotary Foundation, which directly benefits programs for youth, seniors, and charitable and service organizations in our community and internationally.

Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

Sponsorships and tickets are available, details can be found at www.RotaryOutOnTheTown.com Auction donations are greatly appreciated.
