Hi, my name is Sha’arah and I am Rosenda's daughter-in-law. Rosenda Velez left this earthly plane on Friday, February 24th after a short fight against gallbladder cancer that took her life two months after discovery.

She is survived by her mother, her husband German, three children, three grandchildren, and 2 brothers and sisters. I am raising funds to ensure that Rosenda receives her last wishes of a traditional funeral and burial as well as assisting the family with funds from being out of work to care for and spend their last moments with her. 

 She was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend who always had a smile on her face. She led a generous life, always willing to help anyone in need. We want to honor her last wishes, but as you know, funerals are costly. It has also been difficult on the family financially as we spent as much of her last moments with her as possible, so we are asking for donations to help with funeral costs and financial assistance for the family while we navigate this uncharted territory.
