Rose and Olivia’s 1st Birthday Walk

Hi guys, Rose here, my friends and family are organising a fun 5k walk/run in JFK Arboretum,New Ross on Sunday 13th October at 12pm in order to mark our 1st birthday.

For those of you who don’t know, it’s been a very special but tough and challenging year for us.

My identical twin sister, Olivia, and I were born at just 24 weeks. 
I weighed 1lb 7oz and Olivia 1lb 1oz. 

Sadly, my sister grew her angel wings at just 10 days old. With my own personal guardian angel looking out for me after 116 days I finally came home from hospital. 

We want to thank 4 very important charities who helped us along the way.

HUGHS HOUSE, became home for my mammy and daddy for almost 4 months, providing them with accommodation, home cooked meals and friendly support and guidance. This meant they could visit us day and night without the worry of having to travel.

Because of my little lungs, I can’t yet be around big crowds and because I know you all will come out and support the walk, I won’t make it on the day but can’t wait to see the pics!
