Supporting indigents in the Philippines

On our trek to the Haduan Negrito Village in Pampanga, I noticed midpoint of the hike that there were 5 concrete steps going up on the mountain to the tribal village and school. I was told that these were built by the first missionaries that leads to their camp...perhaps to facilitate loading or unloading stuffs they need. I had the idea of soliciting five concrete steps each from religious and nonprofit organizations, perhaps even giant companies in the Philippines to subsidize the construction. If friends can support the expense for the rope and bars on the sides, that would be awesome!!!
