A few nights ago our family received the devastating news that our grandparent's home had been lost in a fire. We are hoping to gather as a community to support Rosalie and William DeGroat who have called Peterboro and Munnsville their home for over 65 years.
Many of you will know Rosalie and William from their years of dairy farming, or their willingness to lend a hand to their neighbors and community. Their grandchildren remember fondly growing up down the road from their grandparent's farm, always looking forward to helping out on the farm or working on a project in their grandmother's craft room.
A few years ago Rosalie and William sold their farm and began a new chapter in life, moving down the road and looking forward to spending more time with their family and the hobbies that they love. Unfortunately their plans have been delayed, with their home, vehicle, garage, and most of their belongings being completely lost with the fire that occurred during the afternoon of the 6th.
While the fire was devastating, Rosalie and William are safely surrounded by their family and friends as they begin to pickup the pieces. As a humble couple they would never ask for support, but any donation will help them get the basic necessities and give them the opportunity to heal and regrow. Rosalie and Bill are in good spirits and feel blessed by the love and support they have already started to receive from the community.
We greatly appreciate your consideration.
