Rookie Runner’s MARATHON: Support NI Chest Heart and Stroke
Hi all, Kevin here!
Following the incredible experience of completing the Belfast Half Marathon six months ago, I’m taking on my biggest challenge yet—the Belfast Marathon!
One year ago, I ran a leg of the full marathon, but now it’s time to go the full distance.
I’m running to raise funds for Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke (NICHS), a charity that provides vital support and research for heart, chest, and stroke conditions, as well as asthma. This cause is deeply personal to me. My son suffers from severe asthma, and I’ve witnessed firsthand the daily challenges it brings. Additionally, with cardiology issues affecting my family, I know just how important the work of NICHS is.
That’s why I’m asking for your support. Every donation—big or small—makes a real difference and will go directly towards helping people in Northern Ireland affected by these conditions.
Official Statement:
Do you want to join me in making a difference? I’m raising money in aid of Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke, and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More About NICHS:
NICHS delivers expert care and prevention services, supports ground-breaking research, and campaigns for change. Right now, up to 470,000 people in Northern Ireland are living with a chest, heart, or stroke condition. A donation to NICHS helps fund vital support services and innovative research—creating a healthier future for us all.
