Mi nombre es Maria Romero, mi padre, Mario René Romero Aceituno nos fue arrebatado de nuestro mundo el 1ero de Abril del 2020 debido a COVID-19 en Villanueva, Cortes., Honduras. Comenzó a sentirse enfermo el 25 de Marzo del 2020 y estaba dentro del grupo de personas inmunocomprometidas, ya que sufría de diabetes y asma. Desafortunadamente, a pesar de todos nuestros esfuerzos, no pudimos salvar a mi papá.
Nuestra familia está experimentando una pérdida tan grande teniendo que despedirnos de nuestro padre, esposo, hermano, primo y mejor amigo. Era un rayo de sol donde quiera que fuera y nos amó con todas sus fuerzas y todo su corazón hasta el último minuto.
Aquellos de ustedes que alguna vez conocieron a mi papá saben que él podía iluminar una habitación y hacer reír a todos en un instante. Él era así, podía sacar chiste al instante y hacerte reír a carcajadas. Amaba los domingos con la familia, su cerveza heladita y pues ni digamos el fútbol, le encantaba ir al estadio y gritar GOLAZOOOOOO!!!!
Mi hermana de 1 año, Camila, y mi madrastra, Dilma, han sido dejadas para cuidar de sí mismas luego de la perdida de nuestro amado padre y esposo, ya que ellas también están luchando contra el virus en aislamiento en casa junto con el hermano menor de mi papa, Cesar. El sistema de salud en nuestro país está roto y estamos pidiendo humildemente cualquier apoyo para nuestra familia, ya que la muerte repentina de mi padre ha dejado una enorme responsabilidad financiera.
Los fondos se destinarán a ayudar a asegurar que Dilma, Camila y Cesar tengan todo lo que necesitan para luchar en esta batalla, incluidos alimentos, suministros, servicios médicos, etc. Apreciamos y agradecemos todos los pensamientos positivos y los mensajes de apoyo que hemos recibido durante este momento difícil. My name is Maria Romero, my father, Mario Rene Romero Aceituno was taken from us early on April 1st, 2020 due to COVID-19 in Villanueva, Cortes., Honduras. He began feeling sick March 25th, 2020 and he was within the group of people that are considered immunocompromised, as he suffered from diabetes and asthma. Unfortunately, despite all our efforts, we were unable to save my dad.
Our family is experiencing such a great loss as we are saying goodbye to an amazing father, husband, brother, cousin, best friend. He was a ray of sunshine wherever he went and he loved us with all his strength and all his heart till the very last minute.
Those of you that were able to meet him know that he could light up a room and make everyone laugh in an instant. He had that way about him, he could come up with a joke instantly and crack you up. He loved Sundays with the family, cold beer, and don't even get me started on soccer. Boy did he love going to the stadium and yelling GOLAZOOOOOO!!!!
My 1 year old sister, Camila, and step-mom , Dilma, have been left to care for themselves as they too are currently fighting the virus in self-isolation along with my dad's younger brother Cesar. The health system in our country is broken and we are humbly asking for any support for our family as the sudden death of my father has left a huge financial responsibility.
The funds will go towards helping make sure Dilma, Camila, and Cesar have everything they need to fight this battle including food, supplies, medical, etc. We appreciate and thank you for all the positive thoughts and kind messages we've received through this difficult time. We also want to bring awareness to how real and serious this time is all around the world. Please stay home, stay safe, we can do this. God Bless You!
