Despite improvements since the collapse of the Communist government in Romania, the quality of living for Romanian orphans is still exceptionally problematic. Many children are left in orphanages by parents unable to afford such large families with the intention of picking them up when they are older. A large fraction of the children in Romania are often left in an institution through their early teens.
Throughout the 2 weeks, we will be helping in an orphanage which involves working to improve the conditions of the property(paint, fix items, garden) and building loving connections with the children. Our second objective is going be to encourage and help disciples from the Bucharest Church, many of which are living in deep poverty.

Because of our financial limitations, we need your help! The money raised will go directly towards the cost of lodging, meals, local transportation, administrative, and activity costs along with flight expenses for both of us. Deadline: May 14th, 2018.
Ultimately, we are so excited to be able to experience another part of the world and gain a new perspective towards the needy. Our goal is to grow closer to God, let Him work in our hearts, be more like Jesus, and love people! We are tremendously grateful for any sort of support and prayers for this adventurous time in our lives.
Side note: Stay tuned for a documentary of the entire trip brought to you by Trevor Legg, as he will be utilizing his video and editing skills to bring forth an inspiring inside look at our experience!
