Hello,

My name is Christian Yoshino. I am a 16-year-old Junior at Peninsula High School. I am also a resident of the Rolling Hills Park Estates Community. None of us can forget the devastation July 8th brought to our neighbors and community.

As the ground moved, multiple homes started to slide down the hillside causing many of the homes to collapse and be destroyed completely. It's unthinkable to be told to gather your belongings and get out of your home in 20 minutes and that is exactly what our neighbors had to do.

While the city and specialists try to figure out exactly what went wrong, I would like to start helping the families that have been impacted by this landslide. 100% of the collected donation will be given to the Palos Verdes Peninsula Rotary Foundation, to be given to the Peartree Lane Relief Fund. Please help me to help my neighbors during this very difficult time as they are rebuilding their lives.
