Hi everyone,

As some of you may be aware, I am in a difficult position.

Roland is needing an upgrade to his mobility device as he has been displaying fearful behaviour of his current mobility device, since return to my care. To the point, the device is no longer able to be used and has been retired.

Part of Roland's high support needs Autism is something called Apraxia. A quick explanation is that when Ro gets over stimulated is his brain tells his body to move suddenly. This can be bolting full run, hitting/lashing out at those around him, running towards bodies of water to touch it, and more. The safety stroller in large crowds/new places gives him a secure place to retreat to and be able to move freely and safely within the community.

Additionally, I am in a custody situation with his father. He has refused to comply with the process, provide needed financial information and/or send any type of monetary. He has refused to send appropriate monetary aid aside from a small amount sporadically over the years since our separation.

My brain was damaged from the volatile environment we were living. This is a common occurence with survivors. It has taken the better part of the last 5 years and intensive trauma therapy, to start healing these precious, healthy neural pathworks back to working functions.

I am in a pretty dire financial situation, between living on financial aid and child tax, with dwindling resources for outside aid.

This money will go towards Ro's upgraded mobility device and living expenses to ensure we are supported until I can find employment that can help during Roland's school hours. And/or self employment from home.

I am an experienced office administrator/bookkeeper of 20 years and looking for clients and/or employment. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have an opportunity.
