Support for Axel & Blaise for their return home

Welcome to Dubbo’s youngest residents.

Young local residents Marcas & Mikita where getting things ready to welcome their twin boys in September, busy buying nappies & wipes, saving for a double pram and car seats, still working, everything excited new parents to be would be doing. That was untill Saturday 14 June 2025 at 342pm when Axel made his appearance weighting 960grams followed at 343pm by Blaise weighing 1kg. Two premature baby boys at 26wks old. Dubbo hospital was prepared and ready for action - new mum Mikita was in recovery after her emergency c-section, new dad Marcas in a daze.

For the next 3hrs the medical team stabilised the boys and got them ready to fly to Sydney.

…….Unfortunately life carries on, bills continue to come, rent still needs to be paid.

Marcas & Kita are young new parents who have been immediately thrusted into a world and location that is unfamiliar, they them self’s are not prepared, we have created this with their blessing, their understanding that monies raised will be used to support them in their long joinery ahead of them, to cover living expenses and supplies, to get supplies and needs that will be ready for the

the boys when they finally come home.

The boys have a long fight ahead of them, we ask the community to please support this.

A-massive THANKYOU to the incredible team at Dubbo Base for everything you done & organised, to the NETS teams x 2 that immediately flew to Dubbo from Sydney, Rescue Helicopter that flew Axel to Sydney, Careflight Air Ambulance that flew Blaise & his dad Marcas to Sydney.

To all the Drs & Nurses, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Dubbo, we could fault you care and love you showed all of us during this time.

They are both doing well in Sydney, mum is also doing well.
