Roger Harrington, or Mr. Roger as the kids call him, has been a icon and beacon of light in this community for a couple generations. Anyone that has lived in this community for any length of time or has gone through this school system knows Roger. He puts in countless hours to ensure our elementary school is in tip top shape for his “friends.” Thats right, he calls every one of our children his friend and loves them unconditionally and has done so for over 30 years. He doesn’t make much but it isn’t about the money, it’s about his love for our children!
Roger was diagnosed with Covid and after trying to battle it at home he had to be taken to the hospital Friday 12/11. Today he is still in the hospital but doing much better and seems to be on his way to recovery!
Roger has put in extra hours to ensure your kids are taken care of and will never ask for any-help. He won’t ask but he will need our help with his medical bills. Whatever money is donated will go directly to his hospital bills. Should any money be left over I will ensure it goes back to the school system to your kids and our future longhorn families.
