Roger Byrne Gorton Memorial Fund - Sponsored Walk

The Roger Byrne Gorton Memorial Fund (RBGMF) is dedicated to preserving the legacy and memory of Gortons very own Busby Babe, Roger Byrne. Roger, the Captain of the Busby Babes, died in the Munich 1958 Air Disaster and we intend to ensure that his legacy is handed on to future generations of the people of Gorton.

We will endeavour, through raising charitable donations and through supporting charitable works in Gorton, Manchester to keep his memory preserved and enhanced.

The beneficiaries of our Foundation will be children’s/sports related charities and child/social poverty, predominantly in Gorton Manchester UK.
