We are adopting again! This time we are headed to China for an aging out girl with Spina bifida. Per China's rules kids can not be adopted once they turn 14 so we have to adopt her before her 14th birthday this summer. (this picture and info are all we can share at this time) The total cost to process an international adoption from China is around $30,000.No, we are not buying a child. This is the cost to make sure she is an actual orphan, we are legit parents, Agency fees, immigration process (she becomes an American citizen), travel to get her and stay in country for two weeks doing the paperwork process there, and many other expenses to make sure everything is done legal for the safety of the child.
We have room in our hearts and our home for another child we just don't have a spare 30K to pay for it. Many of you were generous with our last adoption for the three kids from Poland - and as you can see from the picture they are doing great. They have been a huge blessing to our family and we know she will be too.
We are asking again, will you please help us. We need another 15K+ to get her out in time. We have the ball rolling and the dossier is in China. If everything goes well we could travel as soon as April. Time is tight. We need your help. Any amount is appreciated.
