6 years ago, Rod had surgery to remove his spleen. Once his spleen was removed, the doctors told him that it contained a cancer called Mantle Cell Lymphoma. At this time, the Lymphoma was contained in his spleen and no chemo was needed. Almost 6 years later, Rod started feeling some of the same symptoms he had felt, so he decided to go in for some tests. Him and his family's worst fears were confirmed, and he was told that his Mantle Cell Lymphoma was back. This time chemo would be needed, as they found spots in his abdomen, neck, chest, and his bone marrow. Rod has been going 3 days a month, since October of 2020. He also has to make trips to Madison, twice a week, for tests and blood transfusions when his levels get too low. After his chemo treatments are complete, the doctors have said he will need a Stem Cell Transplant to rid his body of any hidden cancer.

You got this too Rod and we got your back!!! Rod helps and does for so many let us help him too. He is a hard worker and does all he can to love his family and friends. He is one of the good guys out there ♡  Hoping we can ban together to show our support and help relieve some of the financial burden for this amazing guy and his family, he loves so much.
