Rock for Haiti – Louisburgh, 4th October
On Saturday 4th October, our band The Kellers (traveling all the way from Switzerland) will be playing live in Joe McNamara’s pub, Louisburgh for one unforgettable night of rock, community, and purpose.
We’re doing this in support of Gena Heraty’s NPH Ireland fund, which provides vital care and support for vulnerable children in Haiti. Gena has dedicated decades of her life to helping these children, especially those with disabilities.
In August 2025, Gena and seven others (including a young child) were kidnapped from the orphanage she oversees in Kenscoff, Haiti — a terrifying ordeal that lasted nearly 27 days. While thankfully released and recovering, the instability and violence in the region forced a dramatic change: her former residence had to be evacuated, and she and her team must rebuild from scratch in safer surroundings.
That means, beyond regular running costs, there is now a critical need for resources to re-establish housing, infrastructure, and secure facilities so the work can continue safely for the children who depend on it.
How you can help
• Come along to the gig in Louisburgh — your presence supports the message and helps raise awareness.
• If you can’t make it, please donate whatever you can — every euro will go directly to NPH Ireland for Haiti programs and rebuilding efforts.
• Share the fundraiser with others; spreading the word is just as powerful.
Whether you give €5, €20 or more, your support will help Gena and NPH rebuild, secure their operations, and continue helping children whose futures depend on it.
Thank you for your generosity, your solidarity, and for being part of something bigger. We hope to see you on the 4th.
