10-year-old Rocco Pisani's dream has always been to become a Physical Trainer when he grows up.
He is a multi-sport athlete, a musician, an honor roll student, and an all-around great kid who worked out daily. On May 12th, his life changed forever when he became diagnosed with Leukemia. He spent most of the first month after he was diagnosed in the hospital, receiving intense chemotherapy treatment to put the disease into remission. The first thing Rocco did while in the hospital was make a workout schedule and post it on his wall. Because he was so weak, weights were replaced with water bottles and pus

h-ups with planks, but he NEVER GAVE UP and continued to inspire through his dedication to working out.

After a month of treatment, no Leukemia cells were detected in Rocco's bone marrow! Although he is technically in "remission," the treatment protocol calls for three more years of out and inpatient chemotherapy. It is going to be a long road, but there couldn't be more of a BAD ASS and more determined kid. From the time Rocco was little, his motto has always been, "NEVER GIVE UP!" And now more than ever, he's sticking to it!
Bad Ass Academy knows how difficult it is to Handle Your Fitness daily, and we are incredibly amazed at 10-year-old Rocco Pisani's discipline and dedication. Rocco's wishes to have his very own gym and with the help of our network and his family, together we are going to achieve that goal!
