Sending Support to Robynn and Family in this Time

Hello, my name is Thiyah Sinnett, and I’m hoping we are able to raise funds for my mother Robynn Thompson and my stepfather Ben Thompson. As some of you may know, Mom has been battling cervical cancer since early 2023. The battle has led to 3 surgeries now, including her most recent two that have left her with Neph tubes and a Colostomy bag. It was during this time we learned of a new tumor that was causing the abdominal issues, and growing at a rapid rate. Her prognosis was 3-6 months left. That was now 4 weeks ago.

This time of life has led to many surprise expenses in caring for Mom and her new medical needs, along with my stepdad struggling to find time to work while caring for her.

Ben is a very capable man, but of course he cannot be in two places at once, and his heart wants to be home caring for his wife. He has been doing all of this himself, but he does still have to work when he can, so our next step is looking into a caregiver to hire who would be able to care for Mom on the work days Ben has to be out of the house. This is another expense we were not prepared for.

There have been so many of you, over many different communities, that have reached out asking how you could help, or if there was a way to donate support for the family, all because you have all been touched by Mom so deeply at some point in your lives. This alone means the world to us. I’m making this fundraiser for those of you who want to help in some way. We are grateful beyond words for any and everything that you all wish to donate. We are just desperate to somehow keep Mom comfortable during her remaining time with us, and want her husband to be able to be with her as much as possible.
