This year has been anything but easy for the Robles Family. Nolan is 13 years old and was recently admitted to Children’s Hospital for what was believed to be an allergic reaction to a new medicine. Nolan started the new medicine on Thursday, December 3rd. Nolan took the medicine ONE TIME and has now been to the ER 3 nights in a row, admitted/monitored by ICU at Children’s Hospital, has needed 3 EPI pen injections in less than a week and has had severe hives. Nolan’s pain is described as “burning” from the inside and he has been in extreme pain. Christmas is around the corner and the doctors say that this could last up to 6 weeks. He has been diagnosed with Idiopathic Urticaria with Angioedema...aka MYSTERY.

While the family is trying to make ends meet, this is having a major impact on the family financially. Nolan’s father is working all of the overtime and on-call he can while trying to take care of their other 2 children, ages 11 and 15 in the home.

Due to COVID, the mother is unemployed and the family does not qualify for assistance. Christmas is around the corner and The Robles have a long road ahead of them.
