My favorite thing about golf, is its ability to bring various people together. My name is Aiden Robison, I am an Assistant Golf Professional at Woodhaven Country Club in Louisville.

I am a survivor of suicide.

My father was my absolute hero, like many young boys I wanted to be just like my Dad. He was a construction worker, his dad was a construction worker, and his dad was a construction worker. Building and fixing things ran in the family. As I got older, my Dad became more and more dependent on alcohol. After years of alcohol abuse and depression my father Christopher Shawn Robison took his own life on October 13th, 2016 at the age of 41.

I was 14 years old.

5 years after my Dad passed away I struggled with depression, guilt and lack of self worth. I struggled with similar feelings my father faced and was at a standstill in my life. My dads legacy was something he did not want for himself, I did not want to be in a similar situation. I decided to get into the golf business to be around something I love every single day. I build and fix golf swings. I get to be around wonderful, caring people every single day. I am incredibly happy, and I feel fulfilled daily with what I do.

Suicide Prevention means something different to everyone who hears it. My goal is to be able to raise money to benefit the Survivors of Suicide Kentuckiana Inc to support local support groups. This specific organization has helped my family during our loss, and countless others in the region.

October 13th 2025, I will be playing 100 holes of golf at South Park Country Club in an effort to raise funds for Survivors of Suicide Kentuckiana Inc. I will donate 10$ for every birdie, and 20$ for every eagle! If you are in a position to, please consider matching my donations or consider any amount you may be able to spare. You or your business can sponsor a hole for 100$. A little bit, can go a long way.

100% of the Proceeds from Robisons Reach 2025 will benefit the Survivors of Suicide Kentuckiana Inc.

Last year I played alongside Matthew Bloom, and we helped raise over 12,000$ to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Kentucky Section.
