Robin’s Ward John Radcliffe

On 18th September , I received a phone call that we were not prepared for, which would turn our world upside down. After having an MRI the Friday before ,we received the devastating news that our beautiful daughter Aubree had a large cyst and tumor on the back of her brain.

We were admitted to John Radcliffe where Aubree underwent surgery for just over 7 hours a few days later, where the tumour was removed and the cyst was fully drained. After a very long and emotional 10 days we have just had the amazing news that the tumour is benign!

We are incredibly proud of Aubree, her bravery and how well she is doing now at home. She is our hero We would like to thank our family and friends for their love and support whilst holding our hands during this time.

But most of all we could not be more grateful for the care of the John Radcliffe Children’s Neuro Team/ the nurses of the Robin’s Ward / Ms Sarah Maling of Stoke Mandeville and how quickly they acted for our daughter xXx
