Hi, I'm Robin - a writer and creative.

I write about my life in chronic poverty and teach about community care (mutual aid) on my Poverty Sucks Substack. I also run the Black Business Concierge where I amplify Black-owned businesses.

I've attempted to immigrate since 2023. I've crowdfunded before and have always fallen short. As a Black woman who lives below the poverty line and lacks a safety net of support, this country becomes more dangerous for me each day.

I feel an urgency to leave.

I'm trying again because I deserve a better life.
