Dear Friends and Family,
Please stay tuned to our updates on Facebook at Perry Kim https://www.facebook.com/kerrie.pimm/
as I can't send updates here from where we are.
This June and July, Kerrie and Roberto are embarking on a heartfelt journey back to Mongolia to volunteer at the Lotus Children’s Centre, home to over 50 street children and orphans, from babies to teenagers. This year marks a significant milestone for the Centre as it celebrates thirty years of unwavering service to the children of Ulaanbaatar.
During their time there, Kerrie & Roberto will reconnect with the beautiful children they met last year and extend their support to Didi Kalika, the dedicated Director of the Centre.
Didi Kalika is the heart of the Centre, managing everything from fundraising and maintenance to nurturing relationships with the children. Her days are filled with pressing needs and challenges, often leaving her stretched thin with little support.
Roberto and Kerrie share a long-standing friendship and common ideology with Didi. Last year Didi commented that it had been inspiring to have them there.
Donations will go towards the cost of the tickets (over $2300 each) and whatever useful things they can carry with them (e.g. vitamins, art supplies, homeopathics, guitar strings for the kids' guitars, nuts, tools, air-dry clay, fairy lights, hand cream (its so dry there), builders gloves, olive oil, curry powder, tomyum, miso, etc!)
We invite you to join us in supporting Kerrie and Roberto to help at Lotus. Your contributions will not only aid them in their volunteer efforts but will also directly benefit the Lotus Children’s Centre and the precious children it serves. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Thank you for considering supporting this important cause.
