If you have ever heard Robert Robinson sing,
you know what a gift he is to our community. His conviction and testimony have been about giving God glory and uplifting people, always. Many of us who have been lucky enough to be choir members or friends of Robert’s have been inspired by his grace and generosity, as we’re sure many of you have. No one sings or interprets a message like Robert does. His singing has been described many times as “this must be what Heaven is like”!

Some of you know that over the past several years, Robert has faced significant health struggles resulting in surgeries, hospitalizations and extended rehab stays. We are grateful to say that this request is not about another surgery! However, as a result of those medical procedures, Robert has accumulated a mountain of debt. The goal is to raise $20,000 to help Robert keep his home and catch up on the debt that he’s sustained due to these health issues and a lack of steady paying work. As a self-employed musician, it’s difficult to pay taxes and sustain yourself in this ever-changing economy that has affected us all.

On Sunday, May 5th at 3:30 PM, Robert is going to perform a Love Concert to officially kick off his efforts to raise this money. The concert will be held at St. Joan of Arc Church, 4537 Third Avenue South, in Minneapolis.

The fundraiser will feature Robert’s band of musicians and the beautiful voices of the St. Joan of Arc Choir. There is a suggested admission of $10.00. If you’re not able to attend the concert, please share what you can through this GoFundMe page. Whatever you can contribute will be appreciated.

This is our chance to give back to someone who gives so much and asks for little. Think about how Robert has impacted your life. Remember his gift of songs for you, and help him to keep singing.

Thank you!
