Hi everyone!

For those of you who don't know, Michael and I began the adoption process in February of 2022. In March of 2023, we matched with an expectant birth mom. Unfortunately, the adoption fell through in early summer. This has obviously been a rollercoaster ride of emotions, but through it all, we've remained confident that our baby is out there somewhere!

Recently, we've decided to take a more aggressive approach and broaden our search. We're working with an incredible new consulting firm and getting our profile out to multiple agencies across the country. With this new effort come a ton of new expenses (consulting fees, multiple application fees for new agencies, background checks, home study extensions, etc).

Over the past few months, I've fallen in love with crocheting (as I'm sure many of you have seen from my countless social media posts). I've had a lot of folks reaching out about possibly purchasing an item, so I figured why don't we do a fundraiser while we're at it? The working title is "from crochet-by to baby", but we're open to feedback.

A few things to note:

Are these pillows more expensive than going to home goods? Absolutely. BUT, these pillows are hand made, and each purchase is going to help us start our family, so that's pretty cool! I've priced them out by the cost of materials, as well as it how long it takes me to complete everything (some of the larger items take upwards of 6 or more hours a piece)
I will do my best to have everything completed by the respective holiday it's associated with (Halloween items by mid October, Christmas items by mid December), but at some point, we may need to push out due dates, depending on how many inquiries we get!
