Robby Shields, a beautiful son and loving human

Hello,

Most of you know me as Bob, truck driver, former business owner, man of faith. I am first and foremost, a father.

This site is being created in the hopes that we can raise some money to help my son, Robby.

Imagine you and the girl of your dreams decide to move into a place together to call your own. You are happy, life changes, new jobs, opportunities, you feel your dreams are happening. You decide to get a new puppy to share your love with. You know it will be work, but you're a team!

The next day, a knock at the door, a person you dont even know starts yelling at you about a puppy you have had less than 24 hours and within a flash you are brutally assaulted.

Brutal doesn't even describe the outcome of what happened to my son, which includes severe trauma for his girlfriend Hailey. Imagine your boyfriend being thrown around by a stranger, twice his size, in your own home.

I cannot legally discuss the medical diagnoses at this time. Let me just say it has been one week since this happened and the medical bills are mounting; along with their living expenses that are normally covered by a paycheck. There will also be lawyer fees.

Robby is unable, physically, to work at this time and more doctors appointments are scheduled for the future and no "return to work" date in sight. Robby is a blue collar, hands on employee and simply cannot do his job in his current condition.

I told my son not to worry, we will find a way to help.

This is that way! I am reaching out to my family, my friends and my co-workers. I know together, we can do this! We, as a group, can ease this young couples anxiety, let them know that everyone is on their side. That there are good, kind, beautiful and loving people in this world.
