Robbie’s Welsh 3000 challenge for Smile for Carter

In August 2024 a new friend of Smile for Carter, Robbie Blackhurst, will be taking on the Welsh 3000’s Challenge and he wants to do it to raise money for us!
For those of you unfamiliar with the challenge it involves climbing to the top of all FIFTEEN mountains over 3000 feet in Wales within TWENTY FOUR HOURS.
It is by no means an easy feat and the fact that Robbie wants to take this on to raise money for us is amazing.
Smile for Carter was setup in 2023 in memory of Carter James Campbell who, at age 13, went to bed and sadly didn’t wake up. His parents hope to be able to establish a youth club in their local area of Liverpool where children can have a safe space to meet with their friends. The long term plans include providing wellbeing workshops, life skills classes and employability seminars as well as counselling and mental health support.
