My friend Rob was a very happy and hard working father until he lost almost everything important in his life. He first lost his Mom and then soon after lost his long standing job without cause and then lost his apartment and went into a downward spiral so bad that Rob developed MDD and hasn't been able to recover. His MDD condition has taken a serious toll on his life and his relationship with his 11 year old daughter (which means everything to him). It has resulted in him having serious social anxiety. His daughter and her Mom (Rob's ex wife) are planning to move to Japan to be closer to extended family and I would like to help Rob be able to also go to Japan so he can continue to co-parent his daughter and be part of her life. Rob has given them permission to go but in order for him to also go himself and make a home for his daughter separate from his ex wife he needs monetary help! Money for a plane ticket and some money to allow him to get an apartment and find a job. After 11 months of counseling and therapy here in Canada these funds raised will help Rob continue therapy in Japan. Being separated from his daughter Leona would be detrimental to his healing process.
