Hi everyone, I am the daughter of Fema Galam.

As our friends and family may know, my mom was hospitalized on 07/17/2025 due to a huge brain bleed that led to an intracerebral hemorrhage and aneurysm rupture. In the ER, we were told her condition was fatal and our hearts were shattered. However, as the next day came, she was transferred to the ICU and they have stated she has very little brain activity. On 07/20/2025 she underwent a major surgery - hemicraniectomy for aneurysm clipping and prevention from another brain bleed. As the doctors would say, it was miraculous how much she has progressed so far, however, her recovery is going to be a long one. My mom has been unconscious and we are facing struggles as time goes on. As the doctor says, she has very little chance to fully recover from this due to how severe the damage was. Her regaining her basic life skills is less than likely. What’s next is definitely uncertain but just as resilient my mom is, we won’t ever give up on her.

Everything has changed for my family and I in an instant…having to adjust to our new reality. Everyone who knew my mom, knew she was the most reliable, most generous and most beautiful person inside and out. She will be there for everyone as much as she can. I’m creating this gofundme to help my dad ease his financial burden. All proceeds will be going to all her medical bills, medical transportation, and medical equipment that will be needed when she will be discharged to home.
