Keznamdi Music and the Skyline Family are deeply moved by the devastating loss of life, destruction of property and painful hardships being faced by our brothers and sisters in Western Jamaica following the impact of Hurricane Melissa.
In solidarity and service, we are launching a Relief Drive to raise funds for the RMO Rastafari Relief, Rebuild & Rise Plan.
In its first phase, this initiative will focus on restoring and upgrading five priority Rastafari Centers in the hardest-hit parishes. These Centers will serve both the Rastafari community and the wider grassroots community, providing for immediate basic needs, recovery assistance and long term support for self-sufficiency and economic advancement.
Each Centre will offer:
- Temporary shelter for vulnerable families
- Food, water & essential supply packages
- Wellness, elder care & trauma support
- Children & youth “Edu-tainment” & cultural activities
- Ital farming & food production
- Income-generating activities
Together, we can help our communities Rise Again; stronger, united, and rooted in love.
Funds collected by Keznamdi Music for the RMO coordinated effort will go specifically to the Nyahbinghi Centre in Pitfour Granville, St James for the rebuilding, upgrading and relief efforts of the Center.
